Admission is free for residents of the municipality Heusden-Zolder upon presentation of their identity card.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY CYCLING CARD?

Your card will normally be ready in one week and will be waiting for you at the hob unit/evening cycling entrance. Issue of Cycling Cards will start at the end of April.

WITH WHAT TYPE OF BIKES?

Only race bikes, mountain bikes and sports bikes are allowed. Electric bikes, recumbents & rollerblades are allowed on Monday.

CAN I COME IF I AM A ROLLER BLADER OR PARA-CYCLIST?

Yes, Circuit Zolder organises Roller Mondays especially for roller bladers and para-cyclists. This allows these groups to enjoy their sport in peaceful conditions with full first-aid support. Roller Mondays are also free of charge for para-cyclists.

AM I INSURED?

Annual Cycling Card holders are insured against physical injury but not against material damage. People with a day ticket are not insured.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A HELMET? AM I ALLOWED TO LISTEN TO MUSIC?

Every track user must wear a helmet.
For your safety, we strongly advise you not to listen to music while cycling.
You are not permitted to ride in a group if you use time trial bars. You are only allowed to use time trial bars if you are at the front of the group.

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY IDENTITY CARD WITH ME?

You must be able to present your identity card at the entrance if requested. This is in case random checks are carried out so that our crew can compare your identity card with your Cycling Card.

The Cycling Card is strictly personal and not transferable. If the privileges are abused, the card can be confiscated immediately and you will be unable to apply for a new card this year!

HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THAT EVENING CYCLING IS TAKING PLACE?

If the track is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or preparations for an event, we will announce this on time on the Circuit Zolder Avondfietsen (evening cycling) Facebook page. Alternatively a message will be put up at the evening cycling entrance.

HOW DO I BEHAVE ON THE TRACK?

Courtesy to other cyclists is a requirement. Always overtake on the left, never on the right. Slower riders are requested to ride on the right and recommended not to make any sudden movements.

Crashes and irregularities can be reported at the entrance. Our crew will then attend the cyclist in question as quickly as possible and provide first aid. If a crash is serious, they will call an ambulance.

I STILL HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT EVENING CYCLING

You can e-mail all your questions to avondfietsen@circuit-zolder.be and we will answer you as soon as possible.
