Per event

Accreditations are attributed per event based on strict criteria.
To acquire an accreditation an applicant needs to meet certain criteria.

  1. Holders of an official press card issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs or a Media Pass RACB Accreditation 2017 have by definition access to Circuit Zolder. Press cards from the European Press Federation will not be accepted.

  2. Journalists who do not hold an official press card, but who have been requested to complete an assignment on behalf of a medium (written assignment issued by the Editor-in-Chief or an Editor) must submit a request, and the following will be taken into account: recognised audiovisual media (national radio, regional and national TV channels - (local radio: only with a transmission range within a perimeter of 20 kilometres around Circuit Zolder); printed media with adequate media circulation (newspapers, magazines (general interest or specialised), free local/regional papers; electronic media in the (motor)sport sector with adequate unique monthly visitors.

Regarding the latter the applicant will be required to present an independent web-stat. The organisation decides autonomously what “adequate” implies, but follows the guidelines as laid out jointly by all the organisers. The following are definitely excluded: amateur photographers, collaborators of drivers’ or teams’ websites, photo websites, bloggers, story writers, social influencers, ...

  3. Photographers who are members of a recognised association of professional photographers, able to produce proof of a professional insurance, and retaining an assignment from a medium (written assignment issued by the Editor-in-Chief or Editor) are taken into account.

  4. Journalists or photographers working for a news agency, always on condition that an assignment can be submitted, are taken into account.

  5. Photographers or press officers working on an assignment for a series, championship or organiser, are taken into account.

  6. Media passes are only issued to adults (older than 18 years).
