READY FOR SOME FUNFASTIC CLASSIC CARS?
On Sunday 27 May, Circuit Zolder is organising its first Concours d’élégance, featuring ‘gems of yesteryear’.
Pure elegance, nostalgia and class. For the first time, Circuit Zolder is organising a Concours d’élégance. This will be a competition that no Old Timer fan should miss. Unique, striking and exclusive classic cars will battle it out for the title ‘Best of Show 2018’. Selected entrants will be classified into various categories and judged by an international jury on their elegance, originality, restoration and presentation. Points are up for grabs especially for unrestored Old Timers that prove their worth in terms of originality and full history.
READY TO GO BACK IN TIME?
The origins of a prestigious Concours d’élégance or competition for Old Timer cars date back to the 17th century, when French aristocrats used to parade their carriages in the parks of Paris. Over time, cars replaced horses and carriages and the parades became a competition between owners to find the best-looking car.
CONCOURS D'ÉLÉGANCE AT HISTORIC GRAND PRIX
The Concours d’élégance is not the only exciting event that Circuit Zolder has in store for you over the weekend of 26 & 27 May August. Other events include the fourth round of the Belgian Historic Cup, and also on the programme are the Belgian Youngtimer Cup, Modena Motorsport — Ferrari F1 Demo and Historic Monoposto.
This will be a revival of Zolder’s F1 heyday.
