After in 2008 more than a successful revival of this popular and spectacular formula, probably the only “sprint” championship for touring cars in Belgium, Track on Time will reorganize this year on our circuits the promotion formula of the French constructor on the same bases as last year where the “zero tolerance” will remain applied by the Race control in order to limit the collisions… and the costs. The Clio Cup cars will just have a light face lift with a new kit evolution baptized “face lift” including a new front bumper, different headlights, two new rear view mirrors and a modified back diffuser.
To be notified that this time, the three first of the championship will be rewarded by premiums for 15.000,10.000 and 5000 euros. In addition to the test in Mégane Trophy on the circuit Paul Ricard for the prize winner, and the sets of tires allocated by Michelin at the end of each podium and the classifications and special prices for the Juniors (16 to 21 years).
A maximum of good drivers is expected and among them young drivers who will be included in a Junior classification reserved to the drivers from 16 to 21 years. The "Renault Sport Clio Cup" will be fought out during a maximum of 6 meetings with at each Meeting, two qualifying sessions of 25 minutes and two races of a number of given laps (but never exceeds thirty minutes.).
